BEN CONNER
After earning a finance degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006, Ben joined his family business, Conner Insurance, as an insurance advisor. His strengths in strategic planning, finance, and communication quickly made him a top advisor. By his late 20s, he worked with some of Indiana's largest companies. Promoted to CEO in 2013, Ben and his partners acquired Conner Insurance in 2015, doubling its revenue and expanding to over 50 employees. His leadership has resulted in exceptional health plan performance for clients, with many seeing flat or reduced healthcare expenses over the last 5-10 years. Conner Insurance has been recognized as one of America's Healthiest Workplaces and Best Places to Work in Indiana. Ben has received several industry awards, including Most Innovative Healthcare Consultant in 2023 and was a finalist for Broker of the Year in 2020 by BenefitsPro. In 2021, he was named a Forty under 40 recipient by the Indianapolis Business Journal.
RICKI HANCART
With a deep commitment to optimizing employee welfare and organizational success, Ricki excels as a Benefits Advisor at Conner Insurance. With extensive expertise in communications, wellness, and human resources, she provides strategic guidance to enhance employee benefits programs. Known for analyzing complex benefit options and tailoring solutions to corporate and employee needs, she ensures informed recommendations by staying current with industry trends and regulations. Ricki combines technical proficiency with a passion for serving people and solving problems, collaborating with Finance and HR teams to implement cost-effective benefits packages that boost employee financial security, wellness, and morale.
Outside of her professional role, Ricki enjoys reading, practicing martial arts, and embroidery, finding inspiration from her husband, two-year old son, dearest friends and a deep faith in Jesus Christ. She believes in always pursuing the truth and fostering meaningful and lasting relationships, which influences her approach to consulting clients, empowering organizations and their workforce through comprehensive benefits strategies.
DIANA MILLER
Diana Miller, a Benefits Advisor at Conner Insurance, brings a wealth of expertise to her role, leveraging over 11 years in the insurance industry and holding both CHVA and Health Rosetta Associate Advisor designations. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Diana's journey began with academic excellence in high school, which paved the way for her to pursue dual Bachelor's degrees in Finance and International Studies from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, followed by an MBA with an emphasis in Project Management from Clarke University.
Her career commenced in banking and retirement before she transitioned to insurance, where her dedication to understanding client needs has made her a trusted partner in optimizing healthcare strategies. Beyond her professional endeavors, Diana is deeply involved in community service, serving on boards for women's leadership and non-profit organizations. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her husband and three children, exploring nature and nurturing her passion for continuous learning, both personally and professionally.
RYAN SPENCER
Ryan Spencer, leveraging a robust background in engineering and an MBA with specializations in finance and marketing, excels in his current role by harnessing analytics to optimize business health insurance costs. With a foundation grounded in rigorous analytical techniques, Ryan adeptly identifies inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities within insurance plans. His love of continuous learning and a deep understanding of financial strategies and market dynamics has set the stage to enable him to craft innovative solutions tailored to reduce healthcare expenditures while maintaining quality coverage.
